Are you keeping growth charts for boys and girls? HITECH says you must.

A HITECH rule requires growth charting for girls aged 2-to-18 and boys aged 2-to-20. The rule reads as follows:

§170.302(f) (3) Plot and display growth charts.

Plot and electronically display, upon request, growth charts for patients 2-20 years old.

Eligible providers planning to seek HITECH EMR incentive funds will be required to demonstrate that they can produce growth charts.
